Seirus Stormsock Sock Review

Using a trick I learned in the service, if you can keep your feet dry of perspiration, they'll stay warm. The membrane in these socks is similar to Gor-Tex so it allows the moist water vapor from your feet to pass through, but will not allow it to be absorbed back into the sock. Since your socks stay dry, your feet stay warm and dry. I bought these socks to wear under my ski boots and the results were dramatic. My feet stay warm and dry, while the inside lining of my boots is always damp. (see my other reviews on boot dryers) I have washed these socks numerous times with no change in performance. Noting the other review, the outer lycra cover of the socks has split due to the strain put on the socks when ramming my feet into the tight fitting ski boots. I don't know if this would allow them to leak if submerged in water, but for my purpose they are great. Cabela's sells a waterproof Gortex over sock that will keep your feet dry while walking in water below your boot top. If this is what you need they also perform well.

The shoe looks sharp, but is lacking in comfort. As for the "leather", it is more "kind of leather looking." If looking for a similar shoe again, I would spend a little more and get something more comfortable with a higher quality leather.

So when I ordered my 10.5 wide Callaway Men's Sport ERA Golf Shoes
If feld like a 9.5 or 10 D's. I felt my heart beating through my feet.
The shoes do look good. and leather is really soft but I lost some on
return shipping and learned my lesson. Buy my golf shoes locally.

I've had a hell of a time finding slippers because it seems that they only sell them in stores at Christmas time.
Unable to buy them in person - I decided to take the risk of buying them comfort unfelt and fit unknown.
I'm very glad I did - as these slippers are great, and fit perfectly (I went a half size up just to be sure - too big being preferable to not big enough). Very comfortable and warm, and unlike most new slippers they didn't make my feet all sweaty at first until they were broken in. They have a nice thick sole with good traction making them great all-terrain slippers for getting the mail or chasing the cat.
Very happy with them.
