adidas Men's Extero II Wrestling Shoe Review

Just purchased the Adidas Men's Extero II in Black/Red/Silver for my 11 year old son who's on the wrestling team. The shoe fits very comforably and performs well on the wrestling mat. They are true to size and fit very well. I would buy them again when he outgrows this size. He is very happy with them.

adidas Men's Vaporspeed II Heneery Cejudo Wrestling Shoe Review

I've been training in wrestling shoes for 15 years now and my last three pairs have been Adidas so I was pretty surprised when I got these babies out of the box and tried them on. First I figured out the laceguard, which is pretty minimal, not sure exactly where they think I want my laces such that they don't get snagged when someone's pulling on your feet.
Then I decided to take a few laps around my living room. Right away I noticed the padding in the heel, "Huh?" I thought, "Feels springy, I guess when you spend enough on a shoe they add extra features like a springy heel." It kind of feels like you're stepping on a little rubber bouncing ball. Ultimately I found the effect destabilizing. I guess it's not so bad on the mat where your feet sink, but it still feels weird.
Then the deal breaker happened, while doing a few squats and lunges I noticed the toe pinching across the outside arch of my foot. I figured it would go away after some breaking in, but such was not the case. They're just designed in such a way that they bind uncomfortably when the toe is flexed.
I can't speak to the build quality or endurance of the materials because I haven't had them long. I've been very pleased with my previous Adidas wrestling shoes though.
Maybe these shoes fit someone else great, but I'm going to return mine.

The shoes are really great and the quality is really good as well. The only thing that wasn't quite right is the color of the shoes on the picture. The inside of the shoes on the pictures look more red, but in reality the inside is more of an orange color. But it isn't a big deal to me.
I was really (positive) surprised by the seller. The shipping was extremely fast and the customer service is outstanding! I have no problem recommending this seller to others!

These shoes are quick and easy! My 6 year-old son has no problem getting them on and off by himself and no shoelaces to worry about coming undone!! Though the velcro straps are sort of short so if you havea wide foot you will need to get and extra 1/2 size.

I bought these shoes for Krav Maga as going barefoot was killing me when we did bag strikes. They are super light and because the bottom is only partially rubberized they have just the right amount of grip allowing me to pivot when kicking but still affording me the grip I need when grappling. I payed full price and would do it again. 5 stars
